Album of 215 photographs by J.S. Padilla documents the western states of Sonora and Sinaloa, Mexico. The photographs include urban and rural views, with street scenes, landscapes, images of architecture, agriculture, industry, canals, rivers, harbors, railoads, bridges, workers, and local inhabitants. The album includes a hand-lettered title page, dedication plate, and two-page index. The photographs are printed on 109 hand-numbered pages of photographic printing paper, with captions inscribed on 109 transparent interleaving pages.
